Now Hiring: Attic Technician (General Labor / Insulation Installer)

Location: Local travel required – based near [Insert City/Region]
Pay: $18–$20/hr + Bonuses
Schedule: Full-Time or Seasonal | Monday–Friday + occasional Saturdays | Overtime available

Job Summary

We’re looking for hardworking general laborers or insulation installers to join our team as Attic Technicians . In this hands-on role, you’ll work in attics, crawlspaces, and rooftops installing and removing insulation and other home improvement products. This is a physically active job that’s perfect for those who like working with their hands, being part of a team, and taking pride in high-quality work that protects and improves homes.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Remove and install insulation (blown-in, foam board, rolled, vapor barriers) in attics and crawlspaces
✅ Set up containment systems (e.g., zip walls) to protect customer spaces
✅ Use disinfectants and deodorizer to clean job sites after wildlife or insulation removal
✅ Keep tools, trailers, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for the next job
✅ Assist with final walk-throughs to ensure top-quality work
✅ Follow safety procedures, including use of respirators, protective suits, and ladders
✅ Communicate effectively with team members and customers

Who You Are (Required Skills & Qualifications)

• Physically able to work in tight spaces, high places, hot/cold conditions, and on ladders

• Can bend, crawl, lift heavy materials, and work on your feet for extended hours

• Comfortable working around wildlife waste and environmental contaminants (training provided)

• A reliable team player with good communication and customer service skills

• Must pass background check and drug screen

• Willing to learn and grow in a skilled trade

• Able to follow instructions and safety standards closely

• Detail-oriented and takes pride in quality work

Preferred (But Not Required)

• Experience with attic or crawlspace work

• Background in construction, roofing, or insulation installation

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• 1+ years in home improvement, weatherization, or insulation services

Work Environment

You’ll be working in attics, rooftops, crawlspaces , and other confined or elevated spaces—often in dusty, hot, or cold environments . This job involves bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working with fiberglass insulation and wildlife-related waste.
