Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for our local restaurants. The maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities and equipment. Duties can include: Building maintenance Overseeing facility upkeep, performing planned maintenance, and responding to maintenance emergencies System maintenance Evaluating, repairing, and maintaining plumbing, electrical, HVAC, some computer- related systems and other equipment Equipment maintenance Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing key process equipment and systems Other tasks Stocking inventories, scheduling repairs, building and executing maintenance budget, replacing parts, cleaning, landscaping, and applying paint, and other tasks as needed. The position starts on a trial basis, with the potential for a full-time role after 3 months. Benefits include a company truck with gas, weekly pay, paid health and dental insurance, vacation, AFLAC (at employee cost) and employee discount in restaurants. The company will pay for training classes for specific equipment used in the restaurants. (Will require travel) Starting pay - $20 per hour, with the possibility of a raise after the trial period. Qualifications: Maintenance technicians should be proactive, detail-oriented, and have deductive reasoning skills. They should also be able to see potential issues, take corrective measures, and anticipate ongoing needs. Maintenance experience is a plus. Any certifications in HVAC or electrical systems are a plus. Basic computer skills needed, advanced skills a plus.
