Job Description

Job Summary: 

• Under the supervision of an RN, performs basic patient care activities

Reports to: Director of Med Surg

FLSA: Non-exempt

Qualifications 

Education: 

• High school diploma or equivalent X Required
• Nursing Assistant Certification X Preferred

Licenses:

• BLS Require

Experience: 

• One year acute care experience X Preferred

Skills: 

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Exhibits knowledge of the proper use of Language Line
