Job Description

Job Title: Pharmacy TechnicianResponsibilities + Maintain records by recording and filing the prescriptions and orders of Physicians. + Sort, stock, and label medications while monitoring inventory. + Respond to requests from patients and healthcare providers, answering their questions, and referring various inquiries to the Pharmacist. + Comply with rules, regulations, and procedures to help maintain a clean and safe pharmacy, such as sterilizing equipment and surfaces. + Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is accurate and complete using EPIC. + Assist the Outpatient department in filling prescriptions if they are overloaded, if able. Essential Skills + Pharmacy Technician License + At least one year of retail pharmacy experience + Experience with pharmacy software (EPIC) + Strong work ethic and reliability + Data entry skills Additional Skills & Qualifications + Prior authorization experience + Non-sterile compounding + Oral solution preparation + Experience in a specialty pharmacy setting preferred, especially pediatric Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
