Position Overview

Pivot Sweets is a local manufacturer of sugar-free and healthy sweets! We are seeking an experienced production manager to oversee all aspects of food production operations, ensuring that production goals are met safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with food safety and quality standards.

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily food production operations, including scheduling, workflow, and labor management.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, FDA, USDA, and other relevant food safety and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor production metrics (yields, downtime, throughput) and implement improvements for efficiency and cost control.
• Supervise and develop production staff through coaching, training, and performance reviews.
• Work with quality assurance to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain accurate records for production, sanitation, and inventory in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in safety, quality, and productivity.

 Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of the policies and practices used in the manufacturing division.
• Ability to set long-term goals and communicate them to others.
• Ability to motivate and organize multiple work teams to accomplish goals.
• SmartSheet experience a plus!
• Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds at times.
• Must be able to traverse all manufacturing areas.
• Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat in order to inspect equipment.
