Job Summary:
As a Senior Content Writer at Creative Chaos, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and compelling content for various digital platforms. This role is not just about writing; it encompasses various strategic and creative responsibilities to drive our content marketing initiatives forward. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop creative content strategies that align with the company's objectives and target audience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Research, write, and self-edit 3-5 blog posts per week that are engaging, actionable, and optimized for SEO.

  • Content Strategy: Develop content that resonates with target audiences, drives interactions, and aligns with business objectives.

  • Competitor Analysis: Conduct thorough competitor research to ensure our content effectively positions our offerings.

  • Design Collaboration: Work with the design team to help them create visually appealing elements for blogs, web communication, banner ads, and digital marketing collateral.

  • Process Improvement: Document processes and utilize project management tools to enhance team efficiency.

  • SEO Optimization: Ensure all content follows established SEO guidelines to improve search engine rankings.

  • Editorial Calendar Management: Keep the editorial calendar updated, ensuring timely content publication.

  • Peer Editing: Act as a peer editor for colleagues when needed, maintaining high-quality standards.

  • Conversion-Focused Writing: Craft content that attracts and guides users through conversion.

Requirements

  • Technical Understanding: Ability to research and explain technical concepts in simple terms.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable creating comprehensive articles with minimal direction.
  • Excellent Communicator: Ensure nothing slips through the cracks with clear and effective communication. Ask a lot of questions.
  • Content Marketing Passion: Deep enthusiasm for content marketing.
  • Experience: 3+ years of proven content writing experience, ideally in product-led/ SaaS, B2B/SMB space.
  • Strategic Content Crafting: Develop content that drives meaningful interactions and conversions.
  • Case Study Collaboration: Experience in producing impactful case studies.
  • Adaptability: Ability to learn, unlearn, and relearn industry trends.
