The company is a leading provider of construction special inspection and materials testing services with a strong reputation for quality and reliability in industries such as health care, commercial real estate, colleges and universities, airports, and governmental agencies. We offer a comprehensive range of services that ensure safety, quality, and compliance with building plans and specifications for our clients in Northern California, Hawaii, and Utah. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and dynamic leader to join our team as a **Senior Project Manager** to help drive growth in our Northern California operations. Come join us! **Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:** + Provide leadership and management to a well-established team of project managers. + Perform project manager duties from inception of bid request through budget development, construction, completion, and project closeout. This includes but is not limited to being the primary point of contact for the client, maintaining contract and budget management, and responsible for overall project quality. + Provide functional oversight and/or works closely with Client Managers to supplement their work efforts to provide functional oversight with Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Inspectors of Record, and owners & developers. + Receive administrative direction from Client. + Perform invoice review. + As assigned, management and oversight of assigned projects, scope of work, budget control, deliverables and supervision of entry level staff, sub-contractors and consultants. + Preparation and tracking of project budgets, backlog projections, purchase orders, work in progress and monthly invoicing for assigned projects and accounts. + Provide leadership and oversite during project executions. + Development and maintain close client and staff relationships. + Oversee the delivery of projects; the execution of creative approaches to project development and personal dedication to serving client needs. **Minimum Requirements:** + Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management. + Minimum 5-10 years of project management experience in the A/E/C industry. + Experience in vertical construction a plus **Technical Requirements:** + Technical experience in managing large, complex vertical or horizontal projects, including schedule and budget reviews, progress updates, risk management, communication plans, and stakeholder engagement. + Proven track record of successful project and client development + Experience leading a team. + Project estimating (preferred skill but will train). + Project management experience in the health care industry a plus. + The ability to read and understand contracts, plans, specifications and documents as related to the project. + Resolve or facilitate the resolution of discrepancies or problems with contract documents and issues arising from field operations. + Create and maintains open and productive communications among subordinates, sub-consultants, management, contractors, clients, and the public. **Compensation:** $120,000 - $140,000 hourly The expected salary range for the position is displayed in accordance with the state's law.
