**Overview** GovCIO is hiring ahighly skilled Windows and Azure System Administratorwith experience in cloud environmentsforthe Department of Veterans Affairs.The candidatewillmaintaintheinfrastructure,ensureoptimalsystem performance, andupholdstringent security measures.This position is fully remote within the United States. **Responsibilities** + Implement andoptimizemonitoring solutions to track system health, performance, and security. + Conduct regular maintenance, updates, and patch management to ensure system stability and efficiency. + Develop, enforce, andmaintainsecurity protocols to safeguard systems and sensitive data. + Perform routine security audits and vulnerability assessments to proactively mitigate risks. + Ensure proper connectivity between on-prem sources and cloud destinations. + Diagnose and resolve complex system, network, and database issues efficiently. + Provide technical support for end-users and collaborate with IT teams tooptimizesystem functionality. **Qualifications** **Required Skills and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technologywith 12+ years of experience or equivalent professional experience  + ExpertiseinSelf-Hosted Integration Runtime + Knowledge of cloud storage solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). + Ability to troubleshoot storage performance issues. **Preferred Skills and Experience:** + Proven experience in designing and implementing architecture to support scalable and efficient system development. + Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.   + Monitor and fine-tune SHIR to enhance data transfer speed and reliability. + Optimizeresourceutilizationto prevent bottlenecks. **Clearance R** **equired** **   ** + Ability to obtain andmaintaina suitability/Public Trust    **Company Overview** GovCIO is a team of transformers--people who are passionate about transforming government IT. Posted Pay Range The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process.
