What You’ll Accomplish

Our Regulatory team at Wellness is made up of professionals who understand the difference our products make in the lives of pets. We are currently seeking a Regulatory Affairs Associate to join our team. This person will report to our Director Regulatory Affairs and will be responsible for assisting the regulatory affairs department to ensure compliance with the EU regulatory requirements and ensure department deliverables are met.

  • Support the packaging review and approval process to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory labeling standards.
  • Review marketing copy, product claims and website content for accuracy, and compliance with regulatory labeling standards.
  • Research export requirements for animal products to ensure regulatory compliance in market.
  • Work with the team in the country and/or distributors to facilitate new product registration, and/or product updates.
  • Complete documentation to support in country product registration.
  • Monitor export regulatory requirements to ensure the uninterrupted movement of products to markets.
  • Maintain technical documents in compliance with market requirements and regulatory standards.

In addition, for this specific role, we need someone who:

  • BS in a technical discipline (Food Science, Animal Science, Nutritional Science, or similar discipline).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Teams for communication, file sharing, and virtual collaboration, including managing team channels, hosting virtual meetings, and integrating Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Ability to learn document retention software and proofing software skills
  • Ability to communicate with regulatory bodies, distributors, and industry contacts in an effective manner.
  • Possesses a passion for comprehending and explaining technical information
  • Strong communication skills required, as well as the ability to work well with others
  • Ability to work independently without requiring close supervision, meeting deadlines, and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform well under pressure
  • Ability to travel 2-3 times per year
  • Collaborative, team player with a “can do” attitude.
